Hourly Rate
Anybody calculated an 'hourly rate' for the hell of it?
Hard to do, considering you'd need to have a record of all your Duty Times rather than just flight times.
My architect charges 320 euro per hour!
Can you beat that!?

I guess somewhere on the web this kind of data may already exist but the results could prove really fascinating if the figures included such data as;
1. Aircraft category flown
2. crew status (trainer, captain, f/o)
3. Type of operation (night freight, scheduled pax, charter, low-cost, longhaul, shorthaul etc)
4. Duty hours (include ALL of the time spent away at the bequest of the company)
5. Flight hours flown
6. Overtime rates
An optional breakdown (in each category) showing Gross and net salary would be an absolute eye-opener to some Global airline directors and pilots alike!
