Question First Choice Interviews

Hi, I have an interview coming up shortly with FCA and was wondering whether anyone might have already attended one of the interviews and can give some feed back / advice! Thanks

Hi there!

There is already a similar thread with some of us searching for similar information! I too have an interview coming up, and am wondering what the 'deal' is. You will probably get about as many replies as I did on the other thread!

What experience do you have if you dont mind me asking?

Will First Choice newhires likely start on the 757/767 or the A320? Do you need a type for either to qualify? Which bases could newhires expect as most likely offered to start? What about LGW?

Cheers

Hi guys

From recent experience I know newbie pilots tend to start on the B757/A320/A321 fleets, subject to operational requirements. To my understanding, no-one gets to fly the B767 until they have made rank of senior first officer (obviously subject to hours).

As a rough guide, this is where we base the various aircraft

LGW - B757/A320
BHX - B757
MAN - B757/A320
EMA/BRS/STN - A321
LTN - A320
GLA - B757

I think new aircrew are usually distributed according to current demand.

Please note I'm not a pilot with FCA so have no idea of the recruitment process - sorry! But I thought I'd try to shed light on Rikers query a bit.
Good luck with the forthcoming interviews!

Does anyone know if First Choice are recruiting direct entry skippers and if so what the minimum requirements are?

Hi,
FCA don't take DE captains, time to command was about seven years when I worked for them (2004)

767 is based on seniority,my mate went on it after 3 years and also where your based cos some bases don't have em,

Roster,757,regional airport was 3 out and backs,2 night out and backs,2 days off -repeat April until end of October more or less expect about 450 hours in this period,

regards,
FTG
