Ehhhh, unless you are visiting the UK where, upon presenting the offending digit, you will of course be offered legal aid to sue the officer for assault, stress incurred by 'being provoked' and probably be given a huge payoff, an outreach worker and the offer of a large council house that after 2 years collecting benefits you can buy for peanuts.........

bitter, under labour ? , Nooooooooooooo........

Robert Vesco has a warped sense of humour choosing a screen name like that. His alter ego allowed someone to spend years in a Swiss jail while he was sunning himself in the Carribean...
Anyway, given his rantings and ravings about the Swiss, his credibility is hovering somewhere in abstract figures. I can just picture himself sitting at his PC, frothing and drooling at the mouth as he composes his delirious diatribes....quite a picture. What a sad little man.

If it is illegal to flip a cop, then surely a warning would get it sorted. It would appear he was unaware that the idiot who tried to force him off the road was a cop.

When locals are given incredibly light sentences or released for a gang rape a few months back, jail and deportation seem a bit extreme for a gesture.

But hey, it is their sandpit, so they get to choose who plays in it and how. I hope they like playing in it on their own, when all their toys are broken and noone can fix them.

I dont want to make judjement one way or the other, because I dont have all facts.
One thing I do know yu dont mess with cops, immigration officers, customs officers, etc.. anywhere in the world.
I also know some middle easterns have received very harsh treatement in the hands of us policemen, just because they happenned to be "ALIENS".
Even though it is wrong, in reality it happens in so many countries.
