Jet 2 rosters at Newcastle and Edinburgh
I would appreciate information about the rostering patterns at Ncl and Edi for Jet 2 crews.The recruitment website shows a requirement for B737 captains at Ncl but not for Edi-is the Edi base full or is it only crewed from other bases? For the Ncl base is the pattern similar to Easy or Ryan ie 5/2 or 5/3 ? Comments on the foregoing will let me see if it would be feasible to consider working for Jet 2 while commuting home on days off.Also how often do you do the night freight flights-are these only from Edi or from all bases?Thanks very much in advance for your replies.Regards,qrh747.

Night mail flights operate from EDI, NCL, STN, EXT and BFS. Recent expansion at NCL and BLK, hence the vacancies but not much if any at EDI. Not sure about other bases but many Capt's at MAN live away and commute. Just depends if you can live with the hassle of being away from family, hours on the road and paying to rent somewhere at your base??
