Which PacRim airlines are the best for a new career?
At least one buddy at my company (among hundreds of others) is 'fed up' with the US major airline scene (unless he is hired by Fedex or UPS). His wife is Asian and he might be a very good candidate, but, alas, he is highly experienced and not naive-he also flies C-130s as a hobby. Maybe his experience is a disadvantage?
Should he apply directly to various Flight Personnel departments, or call the better of the contract companies which hire pilots?
Tonight, I gave him the website for Pprune, and he can probably detect disinformation and deception, which I warned him about. Another buddy, who left Cathay years ago claimed that much of the so-called Pprune info, back then, about his former company is totally inaccurate.
