EasyJet Sabbaticals?

Anyone know under what circumstances one might get some form of 3 months' (or so) sabbatical/unpaid leave?

Ta!

Re: EasyJet Sabbaticals?

Why? Dunno, you must have your personal reasons.

Have you ever considered asking your base captain for 3 months unpaid leave, instead of posting on PPRuNe?

Re: EasyJet Sabbaticals?

Get pregnant.....twice. There's a thought; do you get double pregnancy leave for twins. My god; you could get IVF treatment, have septuplets and have a whole year off.

But to be fair to PUP, I just think he was hoping someone had made the rabbit jump out of the hat, and would tell him how it was done. Harry Potter has more chance of getting blood out of a stone than...............................

PUP, also be careful. Once you've tasted life on the outside you might not want to go back to the acid pit. I wonder if, of all the 100's who have left, any want to return?? Um?

Re: EasyJet Sabbaticals?

Okay, okay, I'm asking here 'cos I don't want to ask 'the system' if there's no chance of getting it; there's no point in sticking my head above the parapet if there's absolutely no chance.

Despite the current manning situation there are obviously some pilots that have achieved what I'm after and I'm interested in how they achieved it, or is there more to those individual's cases than meets the eye??!

With thanks.
