easy selection!......not

First of all, I shouldn't grummble, I've a job on TP, 1800tt, 1500 multi turbine, 800 multi crew blah blah blah.............easyjet say they want 200 new pilots next year, then I get this reply from them;

Thank you for your recent application for the role of Pilot.

Unfortunately, following careful consideration, you application will not be progressed further on this occasion.

We realise that this will come as a disappointment, but should you wish to reapply, we would ask that you wait 6 months before doing so.

Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications received, we are unable to provide individual feedback.

Thank you once again for your interest in easyJet and we wish you every success in the future.

Best Regards,

I don't expect to be given a job off anyone, perhaps a lookin though?

Anyone else recieved the same reply..?

S**t rolls down hill......

Hey don't worry about it.....it's probably a lucky escape, hopefully something better will turn up for you. Write back to them on PAPER....(just to annoy them) and ask them for feedback....(just to annoy them again)

I had an application with them a few years ago....after a long time waiting I phoned them and spoke to the CP....he advised me to go and fly a heavy high performance turbo prop....hmmm but I am currently flying a high performance full efis glass jet

Bless them.

You all need to go check the thread eazy pay.... Right now easyjet is probably the last company I would like to join. There are so many better opportunities out there.

I´ve been in easyjet now for 3 years and it has just been going downhill. More or less everybody are looking for new jobs.... There has been several training captains leaving (even for FO jobs)....

All I can say is that I wouldent recommend easyjet to anyone unless it was to my enemy!

Happy jobhunting!

NORTHENBLOKE

Hi

I recieved the same reply.

Current experience:- 1600hrs multi crew TP including command,

age: 42. Ah!!!! there's the problem.

Never mind, a couple of days later i recieved a call for a start date with another modern jet operator. No SSTR either, good old fashioned bond.

Re: easy selection!......not

Sorry to hear of the lack of interest from ej. There are lots of better jobs out there with better companies. Keep looking and perhaps we will bump into each other somewhere in my attempts to escape the orange culture.

CAPTAINNIC

Perhaps the reason for the reply was that he was seeking a Captain's position. EasyJet have a large number of F/Os awaiting upgrade to command and have no reason to recruit DECs.

Re: easy selection!......not

hmm maybe you re right. but easy still officially look for decdrs.
and if not, they could at least state, that for internal promotion reasons, he could start "only" as sfo. but always those computerised standard replys..
