Talking

Cornwallis

These routes have 5 or 6 Frequencies that could be used, why not ask ATC which one is in use rather than making 2 or 3 calls on each, hoping you've got the correct one.

Oh and by the way all the aircraft have the correct charts in them! But thanks for your concern.

There was a massive French naval exercise in progress in the Biscay area extending out to sea some what, we got routed to LND from Gatwick before Marak and Santander, I wonder is this had any effect on the routing and hence the call for HF frequencies
No im not a JET2 jockey here

I asked the thread to be moved to JetBlast but by saying a not so nice word the post was edited not the thread...... As many people have said before. Channex / Jet2 might not be your cup of tea for all sort of reasons but the people who work there and I worked with are a great bunch of profesionals!

A petty that Pulp F*ction get an airing that is so obvious a personal crunch (for what ever reason) that he is unable to make any other posts than negative ones about Jet2....

SilverHawk.

You say you dont use HF on Tango routes. Do you ever use T16? If so, who do you talk to?

Pulp Fiction said:
Thanks rentaghost, I wasn't going to bother to issue any denials of being the one & the same X-Centric because it wasn't even worth it & I thought that my denial would add to the flames.
This, of course is not a denial (and for this reason is actually “adding to the flames”). It relies on a third party to do the denying. In reality it is absolutely obvious that Pulp Fiction and X-Centric are one and the same person. (The mistake that confirmed this was to post under one identity, remove the post and then repost the same words under the other identity – yes, Pulp-Centric, it was noticed).

The person doing the denying rentaghost, so graciously thanked by Pulp Fiction, becomes an immediate suspect. However, he has made a clear denial. This is intriguing. He or she has either uttered an inaccurate statement, or is genuinely misinformed or is being manipulated.

All very interesting. Any comments rentaghost?

Nice try rentaghost but given the implications I would have thought you might have done a bit better than that!

NOTE (JAN 28TH): BY WAY OF EXPLANATION REGARDING THESE TWO POSTS - A RATHER DISPARAGING POST BY RENTAGHOST - WHICH TOTALLY AVOIDED ADDRESSING THE ISSUES I RAISED IN MY POST ABOVE - HAS NOW BEEN REMOVED.

Due to the fact that Jet2 do not have enough training capts on the 757 to cope with the large number of crews joining the fleet.

Pulp, Ex, RG you need to get a life and stop slagging something that is turning good instead of you turning green or black and blue if you slag me again!

Best Regards
SL

At the rate F/O's are currently leaving the Astraeus 757 fleet, they might try and hang on to some of the Jet 2 guys
I wonder if any are going to Jet2? That would be a funny line training trip

It is inconceivable that a Jet2 pilot would move to Astraeus. Jet2 salaries pay and conditions are far superior. It would also be a highly unethical move and I am sure the management at both company’s would not permit such behaviour.

4airscrews... untrue I'm afraid.

I've had the pleasure of working for both outfits, sincerely. T & Cs very similar. On the low side but similar. Main difference was number of days per month.

Bloody hell!! You lot need some R+R!! You all take it so personally. Some have good opinions about Jet2, some have bad. From what I have heard it all sounds like a bag of **** to me!! Then again that's my obsevation. Leave Monde and X-Centric alone, they are only voicing their views.
Eff Oh
P.S. (I know who they both are, and they are top blokes who know a lot!)
Go'n yersel' boys.

I totally agree Eff Oh.

As for Aloue, well he deserves the Booker prize for fiction. Monde, X-Centric, Sub Rosa, Pulp Fiction & others are on the numbers as far as I'm concerned. I bloody hate it here, it's a dictatorship but there may be light at the end of the tunnel. (The escape tunnel that I'm digging to get out of this cess pit).

Sorry boys, just got back from my leave. The leave that Ryanair are supposed to be cancelling, but that's another thread.

You've been bloody amazing at shooting yourselves down, this is hilarious.

4screwsaircrew,
Jet2 salaries pay and conditions are far superior.
Think again, there's absolutely nothing, I repeat nothing, superior about you compared to Astraeus. They very successfully fly jet aircraft, as do other charter carriers, into airfields that would have some of your lads peeing your panties.

Cheers Eff Oh, it's good to get support from my 2nd favourite city.

X-Centric,

I trust you enjoyed your leave. It should be a good time to wind down, reflect on life and return to work with a positive attitude. Sadly, this has clearly not been the case with you.

7 days off and as bitter and twisted as ever !

Update............... (Page 7)

The muppet took the bait - hook, line and sinker - rest of this post therefore deleted

still got his clubs says:

Actually what I said was that two posters here were one and the same person. I even indicated the nature of the proof. That is not the same as fiction. I merely asked for a clear confirmation or denial of my (informed) accusation. still got his clubs I think you may not have been reading closely enough - what I said has nothing to do with who is, or is not, "on the numbers".

Homer, yes I really did enjoy my leave, it's going to be a busy but satisfying few months where I am! As for the positive attitude, well I left Jet2 becasue I was positive that it was a poor place to be. I don't believe that I've ever been negative except when a company tried to trap a number of my colleagues & me into a fictious bonding arrangement & then proceeded to fly ineptly & not give a toss about the people who worked for them.

When you attempt to out someone on this site then you better be 100% sure that you have the correct person: the whole ethos of this site is based on free speech only available through anonymity to those of us who aren't untouchable managers. I would suggest to you that you edit your post as the person that you are 'hinting' that I am is wrong. I worked with the guy before we joined Jet2, I still know him & it is totally outrageous what you have just done.

Aloue, don't keep blowing it out of your a$$. I know Pulp, I see him most days in the crew room & we are not one & the same person unless I'm looking at a bloody reflection every day. We share that same views on Jet2 becasue we had the exact same experiences, simple as that.
