Hello all,
I need some help from everybody who would be so kind. At our company we're going to review the flight time/duty times. Therefore we'd like to have some information about the rules used at other companies.
We're talking about a medium haul company (eûrope) with some long haul flights.

Thank you all for any help you can give us.

Could you be more specific?

The company I work for has a complicated system.
First there's the normal block time.
Then there are 3 sorts of duty time.
- duty time counting for salary
- duty time counting for rest time
- duty time counting for FOM limitations

All these duty times have their own rules and exceptions.
Not easy to understand and causing some discussions with crew control now and then, whether a duty is permittable or not.

If you want max Flying Duty Periods look at Belgium, Spain or even new EU entrants from Eastern Block. If you want more limiting "safer" FDP then look no further than the UK. O for a level playing field!
