Ryanair Interview

Gday everyone,
Currently employed with a carrier B737 NG as a FO with 1000 hrs on type. Have been offered a interview with Brookfield. Question are you or can you be employed with ryanair directly or are all pilots contracted through brookfield.
Question with time on type ie NG how long realistically to command.
Question The money offered by brookfield 60.5euro + 20 p/h as a FO is this comfortable to live in say Rome, Barcelona.
Question What are the chances of living in say southern europe .
Question Will you fly 900 hrs per year,or 100 hrs per month , what is a typical roster.

The fact that you are asking these questions suggests that you need to know even more than you ask. Do a search of the site - the search engine will throw up lot's and lot's of Ryanair stuff. Read and digest. Then engage with Ryanair if you wish, tread warily and then make your decision.

Employment with Ryanair does not bring the kind of planning certainties you hope to achieve. For starters, there is a better than 50:50 chance that what they tell you and what arrives in your actual contract will differ in important respects from your expectations (and that won't be because they are improved!). One example, at the moment some with your experience are discovering that they will have to sign a 5 year £10,000 bond (different excuses, line training being one), while others are not asked to sign it. Work that one out!! Welcome to the world of Ryanair.

there is a lot in the small print, you rock,be very careful.

the five grand they deduct for your bi-annual sim.
you will have to become full time fr employee to upgrade to command and the associated loss in terms and conditions this entails.
good for progression, but no long term future and not a fun place to work.so think twice if leaving a half decent company!
