KAL Recruiting? IAC Pacific out!
Overheard highly placed sources recently indicate that:
1) KAL is considering foreign pilot recruitment in the fall
2) IAC Pacific and one other agency are no longer favoured suppliers and are to be excluded from the recruitment process.
Potential applicants should background the various contract companies before committment, as ther are some serious differences in their modus operandi.
Caveat Emptor

Dropp, I think if you register with all the major agencies, you can assume one of them will get the contract. My info suggests that KAL have not decided on agencies. But start with Parc and maybe even Euro-Pacific.
Had a chat with a fella from PARC about this very subject. Seems its all still rumour at the moment. KAL has not approached any agency as of yet. After slow response to ASIANA, they are thinking pay will have to be increased to attract people. No idea of numbers, fleets, or time frame.
That did not help much really did it. Will have to wait and see what happens.
Don.

No fan dance. I'm not pushing anyone's barrow.
I would just stress that as a relationship with a contract company could concievably last longer than the average matrimonial union, one should be awfully cautious before entering.
Through bitter experience, and litigation, I have found that not all contract companies operate to standards, I would consider satisfactory.
Refer to previous threads on this forum and you will see quite a few names mentioned. Those threads would be a good start on background.
As you ask and FWIW I work through Cambridge Communications and have been very happy with same. I used to be employed by IAC Pacific!
