British residence allowance

Hello all!

I was just wondering how much is the average residence allowance for a starting first officer or second officer?

I would appreciate it if only British commercial pilots in service would answer or if anyone could direct me to a website containing such information.

How do you guys pay your rent/mortgages? (there goes my dream of living in Mayfair...but then again it is in the congestion zone).
