I can only assume from that retort, that :-
1. Daddy paid for your FATPL and probably rating.
2. This is your first job.
Believe it or not, your T's & C's are far better than the company I presently fly for.
Honest questions would prefer to be answered with honest answers, warts and all. That way one gets the desired info one is looking for.
My next door neighbour who flies for BMI Main Line, has reliably informed me, that there are "numerous BMI applicants" in the Virgin Holding pool which has started to be drained.
It is not Rocket science to see that there will be a requirement to replace these guys and girls in the not too distant future.
Unless of course that BMI are going down the same road as my company, completely oblivious to what is going on around them and then crying foul when all the resignations hit the fan on the same day!
Unless the policy has changed then I can't see any "Regional" or "Baby" Captain excepting a RHS Bus position. But I do stand to be corrected.
This was the policy a while back, as I personally know of 2 Regional Captains who were offered either LHS Emb 145 or RHS A320. Both went to Dragon Air on the 747.

bmi are not recruiting at the moment. bmiregional and bmibaby are.
When bmi do recruit, in the next few months, they will start with people in bmibaby and perhaps a few from regional before opening themselves to the outside world.
It probably take a while for this to happen, but look out towards the end of the summer.

There will be some new faces in mainline later this year, but I'm afriad that most of the positions that will be filled already have names penciled in for them. As mentioned before, these will be in the form of baby and regional guys and those that are left from their 'cadets' from 2001.
If you are an outsider trying to get in - then I wouldn't hold your breath. IF mainline advertise, it will be for very few positions that won't start until the end of summer. I wouldn't hold out for mainline - keep your options open.
