EUJet issues
Is it time for an open and frank discussion?
Any comments on the following issues?
- payments (untimely, inaccurate, Str/€...not at all)
- rostering (promissed 5on/3off, excessive standby's)
- company communications or lack thereof!
- low sector-pay due to lack of flights.
- treatment of long serving personnel
Comments on a postcard to the usual address

May be wrong but eujet has been operating for at least two years now.
with regard to pay etc, what does your contract say? This is effectivly legally binding and both parties signed it. If they are not paying on time or the correct ammount dont work till its paid. On the other hand they could be short of money and its time to bail out. They will chase for a bond (if your fltdeck) but if they can pay late so can you!

Just a few questions perhaps some of my frinds can answer. What does my partner look like? Will my dog bite me when I eventually am presented with an opportunity to spend some quallity time at home? Will I be arrested for only having four weeks leave in eighteen months or will I simply be given the birch for having a pefect attendance record? Im not perfect by any stretch of the imagination BUT I have seen the e-mail reply in the crew room in response to someones quest for a lifstyle rosta as promised.......... Nearly as bad as Rooney throwing the black armband off last night! Great job, great people, great flying but the jaw did drop somewhat!

unionslave - as regards the pay issue was in not the case that it was sorted out very quickly?
as far as rostering, hasn't it been promised in the new year with a new on take of flying in the spring that lifestyle rostering and increased sectors will take effect?

Time is a funny thing! In a dog’s life, one year is quite a stretch….
True, most of the group joined this year but some of us have been around a lot longer.
PBD1:
Talking about dogs, I feel for you! Better tie-down your's, next time you make it home..
FireFoxDown:
Let’s hope the payroll is going to run without the all too common “misunderstanding with the finance department” this time….
Haven’t heard about the NEW promise about a decent roster but maybe the CEO can shed some light on that issue. Mathematically speaking, an OLD promise plus a NEW promise….oh well, been there.
Seems like the exodus is well on the way by now. As far as the Flight-deck is concerned, this is only the beginning, so I’m told. Most of the initial Irish Cabin crew has left already.
HR’s attitude of “take it or leave it” is finally being taken as that.
Keep slaving away, it might all be worth it.

I see EUjet are looking for a Crew Scheduler to be based in SNN. What happened to the dynamic team they recruited earlier in the year ? Is this expansion or replacement ?

FireFoxDown To quote a statement from within Planestation after pumping another £5m into EUjet recently:
........."the deal assists Manstons position , which has been trading at a loss, as it would not wish to see it's main customer in financial difficulties. It is now reviewing EUjet's business plan, which could see it reduce it's scheduled presence and increase charter services".................

ok , I hadn't seen that. . . but as far as I know there is no immediate evidence that that is the case. I suppose time will tell. . .
I would have thought that schedules provide more income.

UNION SLAVE ....just to keep you in the picture. Just made it home for a bit of quality time! The dog didn`t bite (came close though) but sat, walked to heel and rolled over when I said so!....Remarkable.

I wouldn't have thought that EUjet can rely on income from schedules when you look at their stupid prices and 2 for 1 sale. I'd say they are struggling to get bums on seats !

Times today page 63 (Dec 3)
Planestation shares plunged 46 percent yesterday on news that the company would need to invest £22 millions into deveolpment of Eujet. It intends to sell off non-core assets. What non core assets are they refering to. Given the time Manston should be a reasonably sound investment.
