isnt it amazing

isnt it amazing that companies "refuse" us ,information that could be of any interest to us? i am tired of looking around ,in here or elsewhere , for rumours ,about ,what any given company has to offer to me .i know of people spending 2-3 days going through interviews and all kinds of tests ,without knowing for sure whats going to be like working for that company ,salaries ,schedules and the rest.
some may argue that ,usually ,this companies have not much to give ,to begin with ,let alone advertise it.
...but............
is there no way we can reverse this demand and supply policy companies have ?
why dont they tell me what they have to offer to me(for a change) and me being the one to consider them us my next employer?

any suggestions?

Thats what the interview is for. Just ask them. If you dont like what you hear, try somewhere else.
