Check out www.ppjn.com fairly up to date
If you are willing to sell your dignity and only get a one year contract in return maybe an interresting place. if rated and experienced sent your cv to Martinair: world class company, world class conditions... good luck!

Let me help you out of the illusion. Holland exel is the remains of Air Holand after being bought up from bankruptcy. Has now become part of the Exel group that has various branches Aruba Exel, KLM exel, Alsace Exel, Grandaexel No clear plan however of what direction they want to go in (ie plans changed, cancled, delayed) seem to come up with new permutations every month.
http://www.exelaviationgroup.com/?lang=en
It is run by the illustrious IMCA group of Erik De Vlieger. Who has the tendency to let a company bust then pick off the remains and offer the personnel 'take it or leave it' appalling contracts. You can also ask our French friends at the now ex-Air Liberte how they feel about him.
If your still interested her are some figures. (example Alsace Exel):
First off you have to pay 35,000 Euro for a type rating (ATR/EMB 145) or 45,000 Euro (B767 Air Holland) you do get 15,000 Euro back after 3 years.
Salary while training: 1414 Euro p/m
Starting salary as F/O: 1644 Euro p/m increasing to max 1726 Euro p/m after 3 years.
23 vacation days + lots of restrictions
Further contract doesn’t fall under the Exel aviation Group but under the arm you started with e.g Aruba exel, Alsace exel so if things don’t work out can just let go bankrupt and cut arm off.
Based ? Can't give you a guarantee as they say things are changing so fast so could base you for 6 months in Strasbourg then if that doesn’t work move you to Cuneo or maybe back to Maastricht (relocation all at your own costs of course).
Recruitment via KLM Exel see their website.

Yep the guy in charge has the largest line of bankrupties on his name in Dutch Aviation. the than that they have problems with unions on pensions they should have made up for when taking over Air Holland for nothing...
Again stay clear if you can!!!

Many experienced pilots are leaving at the moment. All for a reason...
Main reason is that promises aren't kept and lies are told on and on!!
Ofcourse it is an impressive start: 200 hours TT and of you go on a 767!!??!? But indeed, what if they stop operating with the part of Exel you are working for...???
Gone is your 45000 Euro!!!
At the moment they didn't pay back a peny to any of the guys who paid 45K.
Their policy is pay a bill after you get your second reminder, this way you never pay too much...
Disgusting and a disgrace!!! It gives aviation a bad name and a loads of hard working supliers will never get their money. This started with Air Holland and continues with Holland Exel.
By the way: The Holland Exel management is exactly the same as the old Air Holland management.
Air Holland was 30.000.000 Euro in dept when they went bankrupt....

Just to confirm what 767EUROPE says, the old Air Holland/Holland Excel management can not be trusted.....as I found out to my cost! Broken promises and lies are all you'll get from them.
I posted a warning about them last year and it would appear that it still applies.

Couldn't agree more Hector. We both had the same nasty experience with Air Holland. To pay F/Os a MAX of 1726 Euros per month (after 3 years) is an insult, you could earn more in a shop!! As Hector and I found out it doesn't really matter how much they say you will get, you will be lucky if you get anything. Some of us are still waiting. Stay well clear.

Holland Exel intended to expand their route network to the dutch carribean (Curacao). At the moment their newest plan is to start Dutch Carribean Exel. Another so called "bv".
They want to fly with767's to the carribean. The only reason they are doing this is because Holland Exel is not doing well (again...).
This way they give people again false hope and when they shutdown Holland Exel leave these poor people behind with a lot of expectations and promises. Again the staff members who will suffer again and the management leaving behind loads of creditors...!!!

Yeah that doesn't surprise me at all. They start up, go bust, then start up under a slightly different name. Meantime any ceditors from the previous outing can not get any money back as the previous company does not exist anymore! They have some good folk working there. Just a shame some of the people up top are crooks. I just fail to see how they can get it so wrong everytime!

@ Backtrack 320,
It can also be the case that the B737-400's are going to ExelCapital. 'Cause as far as I know they were/ are going to be acquired by the ExelAviation Group. Not specifically HollandExel. But I could be wrong. It's just a thought.
Ciao, Lil' P

thx lil'pilot,
i read on the web-log of Erik de Vlieger (owns part of the IMCA-group, to which EAG belongs) that it's about time to introduce the 737-400's (with not a lot of other details though),
so I guess they would be incorporated in the Holland exel fleet,
cheerio !
