The flying is almost all at night, short sectors (1-2 hours) with lots of hanging around in crappy crew rooms. Find your own food though there's plenty of bottled water and you can make coffee on the A/C. Expect to do about 300 hours per year, due to the inordinate amount of hanging around, positioning and some standbys. The aircraft are all in very good condition, and all have ACARS.

Rostering is a shambles at the moment but expecting introduction of a stable 8-6/9-5 roster sometime later this year.

Some people love it and some hate it.

How about hiring?

What are the minimum qualifications?

Do I need a type-rating? Which one?
