Red face

This is probably the opening "act" of MOL for the new agreement . First fix our salary, then start negotiations and give them back in the end to give us a feeling that we won something....

Then again, will the banner on Pprune be updated now to include: Broken 5 year promise, share option not doing so well,

Highly doubt this would happen. Future market doesn´t allow this kind of nonsense when you need to crew over a hundred orders and not to mention to make them the no 1 on time airline in Europe, the flight crew does play a significant role in achieving that.

That is typical behavior and cheating on the labor.

I do not know if there is any truth to this, however newly promoted and newly hired guys have a clause in their contract, that they are not entitled to automatic salary increases (3.1) per year. Maybe in a cost cutting exercise they decided to do it across the board. Interesting to see if it is true. April is just around the corner, so if we do not get it, we will know.

Well I guess this is just a rumor. According to our 5 year agreement we will get our 3% - also according to the Ryanair website -

5 Year Agreement on pay, benefits and share options

On the other hand - could this be the reason for pilots now leaving Ryanair (15 capt. and 10 F/o during the last month).

No.....I do not belive that

Ryanair has allways a high turnover on Pilots some join some leave. With the backlog on Aircraft orders they need to attract pilots to fill the seats again. Some incentives on the way or better saying some promises equal to BLEEDAIR............

Grrr Meeting with MOL

I have just seen that we are invited to a meeting with MOL on the 18th. Does anybody know what that is about – could it be the missing salary increase….

At least you get paid in Euros.

Working here in Asia we're paid in USD and have taken a 35% cut over the last 4 years!

OK if you live in the USA, but bad news if you don't!

Think it's true. They are also no longer paying for new pilot's medicals or uniforms.

You now also have to bring in your own tea, coffee, and water.

Whatever next??

no pay increases,no tea ,coffee, water on board, pay for their own medicals and licence, its all true. this is all due to some poor management decisions and the staff pay for it( even that they made over 200 million in profit).
rumour has it mol has been given 6 months by the americans after a vote of no confidence.
pilots very annoyed and you will see alot of people movin now.

I wonder how much money is saved by not providing tea and coffee any more after you take into account the bad will generated?

Whatever next?
