GB Recruiting?

Does anyone know whether GB has plans to recruit pilots soon? I see that they are expanding their route network a liitle to fly to Paphos and more Cannary detinations.

Thanks

GB Air have recently taken on a few from Jerez who are now well into line training.

Jerez have also placed other capable students with UK airlines.

I spoke with the people involved in hiring in person at GB very recently and was told that recruitment is not happening at this point. I was advised though that this is likely to change in the very near future as the airline grows etc. A wide range of experience will be considred with type rated being at the top of the list. I personally don't think there are many current type rated 320 pilots floating freely so load up the CV cannon and apply when the recruiting begins. I think many will agree that if BA even took a few (say 50-100) this would really get the ball rolling........

I've been doing the charter thing for a good few years now and am getting tired. Long flights to Greece, very, very early starts and not to mention those looong night flights! GB looks a good bet on the face of it but if somebody in GB could shed some more light on the following I'd appreciate it!

1. The number of trips done in a month?
2. Is there a seasonal variation in that number between the winter and summer?
3. Do you have a preferential bidding systerm for flights?
4. How many hours do you do a year on average?
5. How many night stops a month?
6. Time to command - is it pretty stagnant a the moment?
7. Do you have many "W" patterns?
8. Have many people left to fly for Easy Jet?
9. Are there plans for expansion in the pipe line?

Many thanks...

Well, we go to Tenerife, and Paphos soon, which is long enough! No night flights though (this year). As for the other points:
1.About 15, average 70 hours/month (others may argue with this)
2.Not really.
3.No
4.Agreed max is 775
5.2-ish. Currently Malaga(LGW) and Marrakech(LHR) maybe a split in Valencia.
6.Don't hold your breath. 4-6 commands between now and next summer. Join now and you'll be about number 40 on the list.
7.2 a day
8.None - yet.
9.We'd be the last to know.
Nice people to work with
