Post A330 hydrulics

In flight today in the report about the air transat incident it states that the RAT drives the green hydrulic system ,is this true ?.

I ask because i know that the RAT drives the blue system on the A320 and i understand it is a common type rating for pilots and would think that airbus would try to keep the systems as common as posable.

Yes, the RAT powers the Green hydraulic system in the A330. The common type rating is for the A319/320/321 range and not between the A330 and the A320. Due to the commonality of the flight deck and systems (to a certain extent) the transistion between the A330and the A320 is made easier.
