A330 hydrulics
In flight today in the report about the air transat incident it states that the RAT drives the green hydrulic system ,is this true ?.
I ask because i know that the RAT drives the blue system on the A320 and i understand it is a common type rating for pilots and would think that airbus would try to keep the systems as common as posable. |
Yes, the RAT powers the Green hydraulic system in the A330. The common type rating is for the A319/320/321 range and not between the A330 and the A320. Due to the commonality of the flight deck and systems (to a certain extent) the transistion between the A330and the A320 is made easier.
