Could any commercial pilots out there please summarize your company's monthly recency requirements??, e.g.,
3 landings in 90 days, 1 manual landing every 28 days with maximum 3 days extension by management approval............
A Far Eastern Regulator has raised the spectre of 8 day recency, which is clearly daft, but needs a detailed rebuttal of what is normal and safe.............
With thanks in anticipation

3 landings in 90 days is what the FARs call for here in the US. If you can't access the FARs, I'll give you the referrence when I get back in the office.
8 days? Never heard of anything like that. If you took a 2 week vacation you'd have to go in for training????
