727s with Delco Carousel INS units installed

Hello. Anyone still around who flew or worked on 727s that had Delco Carousel INS units fitted? I'm trying to find out if it was common when retrofitting the 727 with them to have them connect up to the HSI/CDI and/or heading bug. I know it was a bit more common for the 727s to be retrofitted with Omega units, and I don't think the Omegas were connected to the HSI/CDI and were only connected to the autopilot via an aux channel.

Of course, some eventually did get retrofitted with modern FMCs with the usual integrations, just looking specifically for info about the old Delco units.

Thanks!

Sorry can’t help. I just got immediate wood when someone mentioned a 3-holer.

My favourite 727 fact - they crashed one deliberately into the Mexican desert at 2000fpm impact (there’s a TV program on it) to research crash survivability - the plane tore in a couple of pieces but the center engine kept running for an hour after the ‘crash’ - would love to see one of your plastic gen <insert alphabet letter> speed tape covered wing aircraft that get offended by words piece of **** which loses 2 flecks of paint and melt in the suns rays do that!

We had once an INS on board, took two rows of FC seats. No ATT info, just for NAV flying Atlantic Ocean.
