Maybe someone more knowledgeable then me on ADSB can explain.

With ADSB equipped aircraft (Position data among other data) is transmitted upon interrogation by SSR to a MODE S transponder for ATC.

Does NAV Canada's Aireon ADSB satellite constellation receive the same signal or separate transmission from the aircraft ADSB/Mode S unit ?

I understand ADSB data is transmitted more then 1 burst /s continuously so I'm confused about this overlap of data being sent and how it gets all combined.
