737 cl bugs speed

hi, could you explain me why i have to set v2+15 and vref+15?
to take off is only to have an overbank protection?

what about vref+15? same reason? overbank protection during go around? and mantain vref+15 with flaps15 until MFRA?

thanks

Yes, and also you don't retract the flaps below those speeds.

V2+15 is when you can start retracting flaps on schedule.
For approach, on the - 300/-500 you set Vref+15 and on the -400 it's Vref+20. Half steady headwind components+full gust factor shall not exceed Vref+20 or Vfe-5 knots. I only fly the -400, I don't remember about the smaller versions. On the -800 it's Vref+15.

Limit your bank angle to 15 degrees at or below V2+15 knots. The FCTM has all the info you need.

Vref +15(20) bug on approach you use in case of engine failure to retract to flaps 15 when you are heavy and can not maintain target speed with present flaps(30 or 40) but you decided to continue approach.
