B737-800 Wx Radar
Tech gurus,
Please can anyone answer the following question.
When the system is scanning for both Reactive and Predictive windshears.
The actual warning region,is it a total of 0.5 nm wide corridor, or upto 0.5nm either side of nose centre line making it a 1 nm corridor.
Please can anyone answer the following question.

Do you have documentation that states that 0.5nm (or 1nm) may be the width of this corridor? The 0.5nm shown on the diagram in post #2 is showing that the detection area begins 0.5nm from the WX radar.
