Tech gurus,
Please can anyone answer the following question.
When the system is scanning for both Reactive and Predictive windshears.
The actual warning region,is it a total of 0.5 nm wide corridor, or upto 0.5nm either side of nose centre line making it a 1 nm corridor.

Do you have documentation that states that 0.5nm (or 1nm) may be the width of this corridor? The 0.5nm shown on the diagram in post #2 is showing that the detection area begins 0.5nm from the WX radar.
