Official writeup on holding short

Hi there,

Pertaining to holding short, is there some official writeup on the standard to holding short? Whether as long as the crew can see the hold short line or as long as the nose gear is behind the hold short line? I ask because sometimes, taxiways are short and there's a need to do tight square turns and we might use up avail taxiway that is left prior to the holding point. I searched my ATPL books but to no avail

Thanks

There is. No part of the aircraft must be beyond the hold line.
