B737NG TO N1 limit question
Good day
Could someone confirm that TO N1 limits displayed in FMC are auto calculated for packs-off and anti-icing off take off? Do you therefore normally manually adjust TO N1 (as per papers) using knobs for most takeoffs as packs-off TO are rare?
Thank you

The N1 LIMIT page displays the NI LIMIT for A/C config at the time.
Once the OAT is entered an N1 LIMIT is produced which will change with a change in PACK flow mode.

N1 for take off normally as you said is calculated from FMC as soon as you entered the OAT and maybe The Ass.Temp. This N1 for normal take off engine bleeds on are with pack auto/on.
For no engine bleeds take off which are not rare specially in hot countries as Baghdad for example, the N1 value for packs off are approx. 0.8% less roughly.
