Sorry, I don't fly Airbus but was told for a
single eng failure > select Vapp + 10 and land F3?
Since Vapps are different for F3 and FFull, do you
1. select F3 and add 10 kts to Vapp F3 or
2. select Vapp + 10 in FFull then select F3?
3. select F3 then use Vapp Full + 10 figures?
I'm very confused as I'm trying to use the intuitive fmc to fly my a330 sim properly.
Why is flap position irrelevant?
Thanks in advance.

Yes number 2 is the way, the failure additives from the FCOM's are based on a VREF which is the same as Config FULL VLS.
So look at the Config full VLS, add 10 then harden up that number into the VAPP at line 5L. Then select Config 3.
From the books:-
VREF = VLS CONFIG FULL. and
VAPP = VREF + Delta REF + APPR CORR
ok
