CPDLC in UK

I see that FANS aircraft are exempt from the Link 2000+ mandate coming in 2015 but am wondering if this means existing FANS CPDLC systems will not work in Europe. My aircraft has connected fine to several European domestic FIRs but will not connect in the UK.

Has anyone had any success with legacy FANS 1/A CPDLC (Non VDLM2) equipped aircraft connecting to EGPX and EGTT?

Thanks Galaxy. Some FANS 1/A+ aircraft also have VDLM2 which we don't have. Would you mind posting what J codes are listed on your equipment codes and if you have COM/CPDLC in item 18 of your flight plans?
