B737Ng landing weight restriction

Dear All

Can any body explain to me how to find to know during pre-flight if you will be landing weight restricted.

any are there any other calculations which will help a pilot during pre-flight with respect to weights

Best Regards
and Thank you

Hmm let me see...flight plan?but also route knowledge(how much fuel you normally save/aircraft performance(what flight level you can achieve with your expected take off weight, what runway(SID)you will expect for take off and STAR for landing ,how much fuel do you normally save for a specific short cut,(ie early base)...

Have a read on cruise fuel economy, optimum FL/flight plan FL,also if your destination is performance restricted(ie LM less than max structural landing weight) then open these damn FCOM and start reading about approach and landing climb limit weights and all the rest.

So to make it short and sweet, read and analyse.

Simple, MLDW + expected B/O = TOW. Then TOW - EZFW = Max Fuel upliftable. If you're expecting to be LDW limited make sure your B/O is accurate and you have considered the points de facto has mentioned.

Or you could actually go to a flight school and learn the subjects instead of faking documents

Simple. Determine the maximum landing weight at the destination airport, taking into consideration of LDA, P/A, Approach Climb Limit, and Max Tire Speed.

Add your trip fuel and APU usage burn to the Maximum Landing Weight, and viola... Maximum Take off Weight

To that add taxi fuel and viola... Maximum Ramp Weight

Compare MTOW and MLW + trip fuel.

whatever is lower is what your restricted by.
