A320 Eng Rev CFM56

Dear all,
A320 with CFM56 engines have a protection which provides auto restow and automatic idle selection in case of uncommanded ENG reverse deploy in flight.
What if during landing or RTO one or more doors don't deploy? I understand in that case there's no protection and I was wondering why Airbus say one has to select full REV immediately on touch down instead of waiting for the REV green indication on the upper ECAM.
Thanks!

Because in both FCTM and MEL it says:

CAUTION : If ENG (affected) REVERSE UNLOCKED caution has been triggered during the flight on ECAM E/WD, do not select thrust reverser on the affected engine.
