The only reason the A/P trims nose up is to allow it to be 'fail passive' in the event of an autopilot disconnect in the flare - ie. the stick returns to neutral. The ensuing touchdown isn't pretty, but it isn't dangerous either, but without the trim, it might just be that. Of course, normal flight crew will assume control and land correctly or G/A as required.
Just because a system does it that way, does not mean that a human should...Follow the FCTM.

What I would say is this: I get a bit irritated seeing people who, as far as can be seen, are apparently real pilots asking technical questions. They often have added 'ATPL' to their profiles. The subsequent discussion goes deep ironing out the query, with real pilots giving up a lot of time to answer in great depth these queries. You then find the OP is a 16 year old simmer, and to me that is a waste of time- the answer could be framed far easier if only it was clear.
So, simmers, just so we know where we all stand, because this is NOT actually a Flightsim forum, out of manners, why don't you say at the start of your query on what basis you are here asking? I usually answer queries where I can help, but not much now because I am fed up with being hooked in on a waste of time discussion with a non-pilot. It is only fair out of respect to the people who respond.
As for differences between CL and NG. I've been flying both for over 5 years. They're planes, you fly them and land them. There is hardly any difference, and I treat them the same. There is so little difference it is negligible. Apart from the different instrumentation, I would not know one from another...or care.
