T/O + LAND Configuration reg Tanks 320

Hi all!

I`m in my Command Course for a major European Airline right now, so I shurely will Bug you with some more tricky quiestions the Next weeks, month ... :-)

Here is one:

WHY is it, that AIRBUS wants the CENTER TANKS to be "Shedded" during T/O and LANDING Situations - and have an "ONSIDE" Fuel Tank Engine config. instead?

Any Ideas?

thanks
:-)

Because!

When you have a problem, say engine failure with a fuel leak, you want each side separated so you have at least one running engine.
