Retracting flaps or leaving flaps at 5 after landing (during turns)

I've noticed some airlines/pilots at specific airports will not retract their flaps fully rather leave it at 5. Is this just a procedural difference or are there any tangible benefits of doing this?

Airbus A320 SOP recommends the slat be left in 1 position- in After landing C/L - on a hot day[OAT > 30 deg. C] to avoid the triggering of Wing Leak ECAM message. -Gunamani
