MD11 Flap Settings on Take off

Hello at all !

This is my first posting here after a while of reading threads and learning new useful things.

Im familiar with the Dial-a-Flap system on the MD11and I've seen that certain airlines just use a standard fixed setting for take off (Swissair used 22 degress, while Fed Ex and Martinair went for 25).

What values do other airlines like Lufthansa Cargo, KLM or Finnair use ?

Thank you !

Airlines like LH Cargo, KLM and Finnair also have the option from the (PIP) to allow a Flap 28 takeoff. (outside of the dial-a-flap range)

KLM used to use just 20 and 28, but nowadays uses every single value from 10 - 25, plus 28. The flap setting is optimized for every individual take-off by a computerized performance tool.

ALITALIA used a fixed 25° for most take offs and an optimum flap setting (10-25) if 25 did not allow a max take off weight for a certain runway, in this case full thrust had to be used.
Cargoitalia uses a variable flap setting 10-25 that is optimized for every take off.
