Tvmc RTOW chart

Could anybody give me sound explanation of this temperature? I know how to use it, but what is really VMC limitation, why speeds could be close to VMC limitatin? FCOM2 A320 2.02.16 p.3

Is there a significant downslope and/or contamination involved? That'd often bring you right down to Vmcg

I've no idea of the specifics but if someone asked me how does temperature effect VMC I would point to dynamic pressure in the lift equation pertaining to the yaw force produced by fin and rudder and thrust on the operating engine with respect to the flat rated temperature.
