JAA/JAR ATPL (300hr course)

Hi everyone,

I am looking to convert my Australian ATPL to a JAA/JAR ATPL and particularly interested in the abbreviated 300hour course. Can anyone recommend a school or organisation which provides such training? I have 2300hrs TT with 650hrs on Dash 8-300's with the remainder on light piston twins and singles.

Thanks in advance

Jar Atpl.

It appears if one has over 1500 hours PIC and over 500 hours on a heavy turboprop ie multi crew the skills test can be done in a simulator on the type nominated and there is a waver on undertaking the theory course for the ATPL before sitting the exams. However it must be said some course would be necessary for preparation for the exams. The MCC course is also not required if the 500 hours multi crew experience is fullfilled. There should be courses around catering for the more experienced pilot.
