LIDO Charts

Morning..

Does anyone have any examples of LIDO charts?

My current company are looking at changing from Jeppesen to LIDO..

Just curious what these things are like and what people think of them.

Greetings
The charts are ok the only huge problem is that the crew will have to learn and memorize abreviations; around 1000 words, because LIDO has its own abreviation, and the worst is that, the way they are created (the first letter of each word) gives a lot of duplicates

Actually not a bad product at all. It's easy to just default to Jepps, tho when compared to LIDO after a transition made in my company - alot of the times we found that the Jepp plates were in error as compared to LIDO and the local federal publications.

Some things about LIDO are not well thought out such as the font size of things that should be readable form a distance and at a snap. Missed app procs, frequencies etc.

Some other things about LIDO are absolutely beautiful, the AFC chart is one of those things. The colors and color coding of the charts. The airport elevation on each chart at the same location is a big benefit and so are the runway mag headings on the SIDPT.

Anyways, like everything in life there are benefits and disadvantages.

Hope it helps!
