A320 versus B737-300
Hi
A friend needs this data just to build a case, please if I can get just generally not very accurate data on comparisons between A320 and B733.
I know they have different seating capacities but I will appreciate data like fuel consumptions, maintenance costs, training costs , lease rates and any other helpful details.
Thanks

A bit odd to compare the A320 and B733, a B737-700 or -800 would probably be more comparing apples to apples. The 733 is a bit smaller than the A320.

Thick Scottish type question.
How is it possible to compare and A320 with a B733. My main concern is the age difference in the both and technology difference so on so forth.

I agree that it is a very odd to compare these two types, but I can see some mileage for academic study in comparing how Airbus developed into the 80s vis a vis Boeing with their (upgraded) 1960s design.
Try www.b737.org.uk for some quite involved 737 stuff.

Yes its true folks that it's odd comparing the two.
This is a company that has been having B732 for more than 30 years , have engineers trained on B732 and A320, they have A320 leased one with crew.
The rest aside , technology and configurations differences.
Whats the best way forward ?
What does B733 deliver in terms of all other costs against A320 ?
B737/8 slightly not affordable at this time.

Colsie, what a baseless and insulting statement "Thick Scottish type question". Would you please pause for a moment before allowing your ignorant brain to spill onto the forum.

Greetings
I dont think it is a good idea, since both will come to the same conclusion, our aircraft is best
Making an independant inquiry is far better and unbaised.
Making a 1000 ft/mn touch down will be a hard landing on airbus with most probably a landing gear change, not the case for Boeing...
