Pwr Hyd off in high winds

Interested in peoples ideas on turning off both hydraulic systems in the B737 NG in high winds. The flight control system from the maitainance manual states that the 'cartiridge compensator' is designed to keep 40-70PSI pressure in the return lines. Does this fully gaurad agaist damage, even in winds of say gusting to 50 kts?

If Boeing say it does, it does! Aeroplanes are left empty overnight or between crew changes with the hydraulics and electrics unpowered anyway, so that little time between flights is nothing. But in transits, you might as well leave them on for leak checks.
