ATR Power Management Selector

Hope that some of you ATR wizards may be able to shed some light...

The Power Management Rotary Selector on models equipped with a "notch" for the Power Levers is split (unlike old -300 models) enabling different power settings between engines 1 and 2 such that (for example) Climb Torque on 1 and Cruise Torque on 2 could be selected if so desired.

The FCOMs do not make much of this feature and I wonder if anyone can give practical examples of when you might want to use it.

After several years of operating I've been scratching my head and cannot really think of an occasion when or a reason why I would ever want to do so.

Any suggestions welcome!!
