In a hypotetical scenario, where AP+FD is "fixed" to the G/S what what be the flight-law reaction to a dual loss of thrust? Sooner or later the A/C will depart the FD commanded profile. How and when will the FD commands change (i.e. diminish), AP trip off or reverse mode etc... ?

thanks FD (the un-real)

I probably have a limited idea about the wire-bus (auto-trimmed to V alpha max with stick released) so any expert input is greatly appreciated as well.

The AAIB report should have a detailed account of what occurs.
