You might try this post in the military section... I don't recall this kinda thing bein' done in the civilian world. There may be a navigator or two who may be able to help ya out.

I think Nat Tracks are supposed to take account of North Atlantic Pressure patterns. Try Google.

Mmmhhh... King, I knew that they were used by airliners until '80s to cross the atlantic ocean... but may who told me that could be wrong... Anyway I'll verify.

pressure pattern navigation in the old days was about comparing an accurate radio altimeter height with the pressure, and using that information to calculate the aircraft drift in overwater navigation. That way you get to your destination (by altering the heading to account for drift) even if the arrival time may be out be some time. Hence the pressure pattern scales on the Jeppesen CRP flight calculators.
