Carbon Monoxide Detection...

We receive numerous emails at AOPIS from crews wishing to obtain Carbon Monoxide detectors. CO detectors and interesting books on the ongoing contaminated air issue are available at the information site http://www.toxicfreeairlines.com. A UKBAe146 pilot used the model offered on over 300 flights which logged CO on over 80% of flights confirming the air supply was being contaminated. Some flights had CO above the JAR / FAA limit.
