Post New Boeing 737 procedures

Guys,

Have people used the new 737 procedures yet?

Are they to get the 737 in line with the rest of the Boeing fleet of aircraft for aircrew standardisation?

Is it a major change from the current 737 SOP's?

Has the new procedures been implemented on the 737-200 through to the 737-900?

Apparently this is because Boeing is trying to cover lost ground from airbus common type ratings, so you can do a NG type rating followed by a 777 type rating with minimal sims and ground school?

If they at least had managed to make a product that was reasonably correct, but no.

I really, really hope they are better in making aircraft than procedures.

As for your questions:

Have people used the new 737 procedures yet?
We will implement them soon.

Are they to get the 737 in line with the rest of the Boeing fleet of aircraft for aircrew standardisation
Yes. Or, all Boeings-same procedures.

Is it a major change from the current 737 SOP's?
Depends on your SOP.

Has the new procedures been implemented on the 737-200 through to the 737-900?
I don't know, but I think so.

Apparently this is because Boeing is trying to cover lost ground from airbus common type ratings, so you can do a NG type rating followed by a 777 type rating with minimal sims and ground school?
You bet, but I don't think it will be that easy.
