BA 320 winglets
Was recently on the BA shuttle GLA-LHR on an A320. I couldn't help but notice that the aircraft had no winglets. Totally perplexed, and convinced I was losing my mind, I checked the seat back safety card. Sure enough, it was a 320, and the photo didn't have them either.
I fly the darn things for a living and had no idea that they exist in the "no winglet" variety. Is this something peculiar to BA?

IIRC the BA A320s with no winglets are early -100 models bought by British Caledonian and taken over by BA. I believe the regs were G-BUSA onwards.
However, I'm not sure if some of these early models have been retrofitted.

With MY reputation?

Sawbones,
You were right! From memory, I think BA picked up the old BCal order, a few of them were -100 series which didn't have winglets...Not a clue why though...

The right hand winglets are often removed by catering dept, just to confuse SLF even further!
