Piston engine induction icing
BN2, are you refering in general to carby icing can cause accidents? Or inferring that the PA44 is injected & even so sufferred an intake icing problem? It's a carby engine, hence why I was wondering...
Can't remember if Pa44 is fuel-injected, but the report did state
"induction-icing", would imagine they would mention carb- ice if that was the case.
With fuel-injected systems the main danger would be obstruction of the intake right? So impact icing on the actual intake scoop.
