Question Toe in/toe out

Just a query about "toe in" and "toe out" of the engines on various types of jet aircraft...is there any?

I am presuming little for wing mounted engines, and a couple of degrees toe in for rear mounted engines (ie F28, 727 etc)?

Talking

The DC9 had slightly 'toed 'in engines,to'counter the 'yaw' of the dead eng'
The 727 had slightly pitched up eng's for aerodynamic 'lift' of the tailend, and poss' to meet the airflow over the wing'headon'
Cheers

B747 has a 2 deg 'toe in' on the pylons/engines.
Don't know why but possibly to account for the airflow off the nose.

Unhappy

The engine pods are designed so that they have a zero local sideslip angle, The 747 has a toe-in to achieve this
