The AN 12 left our shores about 2 hours ago flying out of Prestwick.

Beech 1900 N208GL just droned over towards the continent out of Brum, slightly unusual type for me...

SpringHeeledJack 27th Sep 2022 12:29

An hour later and the B1900 is powering through Germany. It originated in Greybull, Wyoming a couple of days ago. Something in the grey matter is stirring and I seem to recall the same (or different frame) doing the same type of long journey in the last 2-3 years. I flew on a few of them in the USA some years back on some feeder airline in the Western states. Seemed a bit susceptible to the lumpy air, although maybe just my luck!

For N208GL next stop is Belgrade.

Currently 4 EuroFighters excercising to the S @ E of Norwich, doesn't appear to be tanker in the area ,now being joined by 2 more in the WASH AREA..

KING6024 27th Sep 2022 20:13

Now a Voyager over the sea, plus 3/4 Eurofighters in the area. There are also 2 Dassault Falcons over East Anglia now. They came South from the Tees plus a Chinook also in the area. What are the Falcons used for, they have civilian registrations.

Hi
Seen a West atlantic 737 G-jmcs at 550ft west of the Isle of Wight doing circuits just taken off from BOH . these are the same circuits it did before landing from EMA earlier.

Any ideas?

Also B200 G-RAFL orbiting with them at 1400' - curious! Are you able to eyeball them, wondering if the 737 is higher than it's reporting?

Is there an oil spill? The 727 G-OSRA has taken off from Hurn and now doing the same at 475ft.

Hi Not eyeballing them, I am just behind the over cliff and it’s probably just over the horizon even from the cliff.

Wednesday evening Norfolk offering 2 x USAF C130s working in close formation at Sculthorpe with Osprey in the vicinity and 4 x Eurofighters in the area..

Re the low flying stuff to the west of the Isle of Wight, this part of a two day exercise so they will be at it again today. Just wish they would come over my place on the north coast of the 'island'!

dixi188 29th Sep 2022 09:11

BRO27 (the Oil Spill Boeing 727) has just departed BOH and is heading for the IoW.
Yesterday it did 12 holds at low level.

NASA's 747SP in the last hour of it's last flight from/to Palmdale California.

treadigraph 29th Sep 2022 20:25

I'm up in Northern Suffolk and have seen nada. Zilch. Not a thing... apart from an Islander. Where have all the Ospreys gone...? They are flying again. Still, I'm here till Tuesday.

KING6024 30th Sep 2022 09:24

Only saw one Osprey over East Anglia Thursday evening,no other USAF/RAF obvious activity.Coming ahead to Friday Morning and I've just had a look at Harbour Harbour webcams and we have dense fog which might restrict activity !!

Just SW of Diss and mist has cleared now. A Typhoon, presumably several, has just audibly gone over at 39000', heading towards Seaford, presumably off to the Med.

OUAQUKGF Ops 30th Sep 2022 11:50

When I lived at Diss there was a low-level corridor that passed over the old airfield at Fersfield. Roughly north to south if I remember rightly. You might get lucky !
